Purple Plus is committed to making purpleplushms.com (the “Site”) usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities, older users, and people using assistive technology. This statement describes our approach, the standards we aim to meet, and how to tell us if something is not working.

1. Our Commitment

We design the Site for healthcare professionals, hospital teams, and members of the public who need clear information about Purple Plus. Accessibility is part of that work. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a practical reference when we build and update pages.

2. What You Should Be Able to Do

On the public Site, you should be able to:

  • Move through pages and forms with a keyboard, including visible focus on interactive controls.
  • Use a screen reader to hear page titles, headings, links, buttons, and form labels.
  • Zoom the page and use your browser’s text-size settings without losing access to main content.
  • Read text against a sufficiently contrasting background on primary content and navigation.
  • Understand images that convey meaning through alternative text, or skip purely decorative images.

3. How We Build for Accessibility

We use semantic HTML, labelled form fields, and focus styles on buttons, links, and inputs. Primary journeys such as requesting a demo, joining the community waitlist, and registering for a webinar are built as standard forms rather than inaccessible custom widgets. We test changes in current versions of major browsers and review layouts at desktop and mobile widths.

4. Known Limits

Some older content, third-party embeds, or downloadable files may not yet meet the same standard as newer pages. Complex product diagrams and photography may be decorative or may have short descriptions rather than a full text equivalent. If a file, form, or page is difficult to use, contact us and we will help you get the information another way.

5. Compatible Assistive Technology

The Site is intended to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, and with common assistive technologies such as screen readers, zoom tools, and keyboard-only navigation. We recommend keeping your browser and assistive technology up to date.

6. Tell Us About a Barrier

If you have trouble using any part of the Site, please email solutions@purpleplushms.com or call +234 814 602 7217. Include the page address, a short description of the problem, and the browser or assistive technology you were using if you know it. We will work to acknowledge accessibility feedback and provide a workaround or fix where we reasonably can.

7. Changes to This Statement

We may update this accessibility statement as the Site and our practices improve. The current version will always be published on this page.
